Amy Hassinger Bio:
Amy Hassinger has trained many successful riders, horses and ponies in the hunter/jumper industry. Many of today's top ponies, junior hunters, equitation stars and their talented riders were brought along by Amy and her staff at Hassinger Farm and her previous business Milestone Farm. She has ridden with many of the most respected hunter, jumper and dressage professionals in the U.S., Holland and Germany. She currently competes her Conformation stallion "Rakus" in both the hunters and dressage. Together with her husband, veterinarian Dr. Jim Hassinger, the "Hassinger Team" operate the only veterinarian owned, full-service equine sports medicine, rehabilitation and conditioning center in the United States. In addition, they travel the circuit, offering sports medicine services at many of the top shows on the AQHA circuit. Amy's latest project, Equine Healthcare International launched two "hot" products to the horse show market last year. POMMS premium equine earplugs and BIT BUTTER have become two "must haves" at horse shows worldwide!

Clinic:
Amy Hassinger is a clinician who is well versed in the art of teaching riders and their horses/ponies how to achieve success and confidence in the hunter/jumper arena! Her simplified approach to riding and training is based on open communication with her students and "common sense" systems that can be applies to any horse or pony's training process. As a clinician, Amy is well known for demonstrating many of her well known key exercises from horseback, offers simple and clear explanations of many key showing concepts and leads fun question/answer sessions with both the riders and auditiors.
