Providence Equestrian Center Policies
Tuition and Fees
Tuition is due by the 1st of each month. A $25 late fee will be applied to all payments received after the 1st of the month. A annual $25 registration fee is required of each student.
Discounts
Sibling/Second Lesson Discount: $10 off lesson tuition per month Session Discount: If full session is paid for in advance, session discount will apply. Note: Students may only utilize one of these two discount options
Withdrawals
A four week written notice MUST be given.Students are responsible for all tuition for classes in which they are enrolled. Account must be settled at the time of withdrawal.
If you pay MONTHLY, there will be NO REFUND OF THE MONTHLY TUITION if you withdraw before the month is complete.
If you pay by the SEMESTER, there will be NO REFUND FOR ANY PARTIAL MONTH ATTENDED. The remaining months of the session will be refunded at the session discount rate.
Make-Up Lessons
Students are encouraged to attend all classes. If you are not able to attend, please notify the barn 48 hours in advance unless you are unable due to illness or family emergency. There is a maximum of 2 make-ups allowed per session. Arrangements must be made directly with the instructor and are subject to her schedule’s availability. There are no make-ups offered for lessons in which the barn was not notified of an absence. There are no make-ups for rescheduled classes that are missed. Make-ups do not carry over to the next session. You must be a currently enrolled student to schedule a make-up lesson.

Barn Rules
All students and visitors must agree to follow the Barn Rules.
- Please don’t run or shout around the horses.
- Approach horses slowly and calmly, and avoid walking directly behind them.
- Follow directions on leading, grooming, and tacking your horse.
- Do not mount your horse before you have permission from your instructor.
- Wear appropriate footwear at the barn at all times.
- Wear your helmet at all times around your horse.
- Children who are not students, including siblings and friends, are not allowed in stalls, wash stalls, tacking areas, arena and paddocks. All visitors must follow barn rules.
- No one is allowed in the Hay Shed.
- Follow instructions on care of tack and store neatly when finished.
- The Boarder Tack Room is for boarders and leasers only.
- Place all trash in appropriate receptacles.
- Do not give horses treats. Although the horses enjoy the snack, it is important to protect them from choking and compromising their diet.
