Mitzi Treske, DVM

A graduate of Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine , Mitzi relocated with her family to the Charlotte area in 1996. After having practiced veterinary medicine in Seattle, she was interested in pursuing her interest in horses and medicine while raising her young family. She and her husband Mike purchased Providence Equestrian Center in the spring of 1998. They continues to pursue their goals of creating a quality riding academy and show program. Their daughter Suzanna is an active participant on the Providence Show Team. Mitzi is a member of the Mecklenburg Hounds Hunt Club.
Valentina Timpone
At the age of 4, after my first ride on a horse, I told my parents this is what I want to do with my life..............and here I am! I have been coached by some of the best people in our region including Susan Bebee, Nancy Lindroff, Bill Hoos, Ralph Hill, Nancy Tans, Ivy Ladone, Mike Plum, Jimmy Woford, and Stuart Black. I am currently continuing my equestrian education with Amy and Jim Hassinger of Hassinger Farm. I have been educated in and have show experience in Hunters, Jumpers, and three day Eventing to the Preliminary level.
In the past 4 years, I have run my own barn, worked for the Oaken’s at HiHopes Farm and now for Mitzi and Mike Treske at Providence Equestrian Center. My responsibilities at PEC include instructing, riding, show training, and barn management. I also use connections in the industry and my knowledge in sales and leasing to match rider with horse or pony. I enjoy all faucets of my career and encourage you to come to Providence to receive training to meet your riding and showing goals, excellent care of your horse, and to have a wonderful equestrian experience.
