Mitzi Treske, DVM
Owner
A graduate of Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine , Mitzi relocated with her family to the Charlotte area in 1996. After having practiced veterinary medicine in Seattle, she was interested in pursuing her interest in horses and medicine while raising her young family. She and her husband Mike purchased Providence Equestrian Center in the spring of 1998. They continues to pursue their goals of creating a quality riding academy and show program. Their daughter Suzanna is an active participant on the Providence Show Team. Mitzi is a member of the Mecklenburg Hounds Hunt Club.
Beth Stalsworth
Head Trainer/Instructor
Originally from Chicago, Beth moved to North Carolina in 2003 to begin training at Providence Equestrian Center. Beth is a 1999 graduate of William Woods University with a degree in Equestrian Science. She has had success showing both hunters and jumpers and her greatest riding accomplishment is taking her own horse "Jammin" from a green prospect to the Grand Prix level. During her time at PEC, Beth's students have enjoyed successes ranging from the local level all the way to qualifying for national championships and winning USEF Zone awards.

Breann Cecil
Instructor
Breann started riding 20 years ago at the age of 7, and has been riding and competing in the hunters and jumpers ever since. She graduated from Virginia Intermont College in May of 2004 with a B.S. in Equine Studies and while there rode for the IHSA team. She started teaching at Providence in June of 2004 and has experience teaching riders of all ages and riding levels. She especially enjoys teaching young riders all about riding and caring for horses.

Jennifer Peppler
Events Coordinator
Jennifer started riding when she was 6 years old. She received a BA in Business from Queens. In 2005, she enrolled one of her daughters in the riding program at PEC, started riding again herself, bought a horse and joined the PEC Show Team. She has been in charge of Special Events at PEC for four years, has assisted with the Summer Camp Program for three summers and is a part-time instructor.

Office Manager
Mary is the Accounts Receivable contact for you at PEC. See her for all your questions about invoices and scheduling. Her hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 3pm to 6:30 pm and Tuesday, 2pm to 5:30 pm.
